About the Site's Maintenance
Alright, at this current moment, I've decided that I will open my forum for people to actually sign up. I didn't expect to until next month, but I felt now might as well have been good enough. Anyways, I am currently revamping some of the codes (particularly the Info Center, which I am restarting from scratch). Currently, my sight is mostly Firefox and possibly Netscape friendly...but the Info Center on Internet Explorer and similar Browsers looks a little off. This is why I have to fix it, and may look peculiar for some time. Currently, I am still trying to tack together the main overall theme and plot (you could have a hand at making it great too if you want), but I will just explain to you the basics for now, and you decide.
EDIT: Is now Internet Explorer friendly.
Concept
Basically, the board is divided in multiple areas...(the counties that are explained below). By making a character from a certain county, more categories are available to members. These hidden categories are the heart of the forum, in which these are where the problems (war effort, affects of the plague, relations to county affairs...etc) are either discussed (only for the higher up characters) or role played (even though all of it is in fact role played). The forum is dedicated to making out each member as though he or she is his or her own character. This is done typically by the use of [whisper] tags in posts. Only those (except head administrator) who you choose to be able to read can actually read what is in the whisper. So, by doing this, those characters who are not supposed to know certain facts of you character won't. This increases the potency of the plot; however, even though a character makes whisper posts, there still have to be post (at least three, but definitely more preferred) that are not in whisper posts.
A Little Bit of the Plot and Theme
Delementiné is an all human site (though NPC's relating to a character can be controlled by that character). It is set in a similar example of what the thirteenth to fifteenth centuries were like; though, with minor incorporations of somewhat radical ideas).
The start of everything was because of the plague, that which nearly wiped out an entire continent. Sure, at first it seemed like it was just a simple miscreant, but it started to spread more quickly as time drew by. From the north, it was unknown how it came about, and it was certainly expected of the people there, and because of which, those who were either not lucky or were able to escape the lands, soon perished in a cold death.
Unfortunately, the north was also home to the royal family who ruled over the entire continent. Stubborn as they were, when the plague struck, the royal family was cleaned away, all except for a small portion, who left to the south long before, in fear that things might have turned this way. Now, there was a land with nothing supporting it in its needs; and with the royal family either separated or dead, the continent was surely dying. The plague would spread more to the south, and finish its reign of killing, but the lucky few who would survive it, would have to start anew.
As decades passed by, the lands desperately called out for some stability, someone to lead them to their desired courses. Soon enough, power started to form, and individual counties began to live again. Of these, four distinct counties appeared more potential, Fieare, Auquoro, Aerorea, and Zapiroru. Each gaining potency in different ways.
The counties, however, because they had such drastically different views from one another, friction started to develop between them. Soon the counties finally declared war on each other, and every minor county would be caught in the middle. During the latter parts of the battles, the residual affects of the plague started to form again, and caused a new fear in people. At this time, the counties still have major bouts with each other in spite of this, and now fates tale will tell of this. How will everything work out in the end? Will one power become the strongest, and survive through the awakening of the plague? or will each become obliterated because of such actions?

Fieare County
The land that is farthest north. It is home to wonderful and beautiful coniferous forests, and through most of the year, nearly all parts of its land is completely covered in snow. The southern portion, that connects Fieare to the rest of the continent, tends to be cold, hard and dry; it is too much to be fertile, but in the summer, it is graced with some bouts of warmth. Nearly a century ago, the plague struck for the first time, and this terrain was its original victim. When the plaque had thusly ceased, the land was left as a practical waist land, and after which, people felt weary about coming back. Without the royal family at the thrown, the castle was furthermore abandoned, and new power had to be formed in villages farther away. As the plague strikes for the second time, how are the people of Fieare going to react this time?
Auquoro County
The land of the deep southeast. It is home to one of the most peculiar landscape. Expansive dry lake beds in the most north, that has now been seen as a desert, luscious fertile grounds in the center county, and marsh like sections, spread out throughout the deeper south. When the plague originally affected the north, many people have tried to gain access into this southern "paradise." Including of which were the remaining royal family. They have drastically been diminished of their power, at least seen by the rest of the continent, but among those in Auquoro, they are still highly respected. They do not have power to rule the entire continent, but they have since then been leading over Auquoro. Faith and religion is a major part of Auquoro, and god and the royal family are there everything. Now, once again, the plague strikes again; are the people of Auquoro still going to have faith in the royal family to protect them?
Aerorea County
The land of the deep southwest. It is home to the most bizarre layouts of terrain. In the most north, dry deserts are stretched about. They range from hot in the summers and cold in the winters, with little water to be supplied for quite some distance. Somewhat in the middle of the county is wide spaces of open semi fertile land. Many villages have been placed here, as this is almost the place of highest productivity for Aerorea. Just south, and slightly more to the west, a large mesh of rain forests are centralized together. The abundance of rain in the south, makes up for the lack thereof in the north. In the furthest south, the land is grounds for many rains, but tends to be slate like and unfertile.
In the first wave of the plague, for the many people there, they were somewhat safe. For some reason, it didn't completely pass through the wall generated by the rain forests, and in such case, many people survive, but only so many. The people in Aerorea believe that the strong deserve to survive, and that because many people were weak, the plaque came to wipe them out. This is the main principle behind the leader in standing now. But now, the plague has come back, certainly it is after the weak only. What is the belief of Aerorea after this? What are they going to do against it?
Zapiroru County
The land that is center of the entire continent. It is home to generally dry warm summers and moist cold winters. The entire landscape is basically a giant plane; however, there is exception to some relatively small deciduous forests that are planted every few miles from one another. The land is typically rough and somewhat infertile, and is found difficult to cultivate on. When the plague struck, Zapiroru was rather unprepared. It was much for its entire existence, but definitely for this new encumbrance. In the end, Zapiroru was able to barely survive, most of its people moving off to more southern counties. A few came back, as it was their home, and it started making its life new again.
Because Zapiroru has never been one for cultivation, it has since then turned to alternative service. Many years after the plague, the county had found a new track for itself, industrialization. With the opening of the Quolek mines, resources were able to be obtained and used for their new line of work. Certainly it was rather small at the time, but it was a step up from nothing. When the lands declared war on each other, Zapiroru was clearly outmatched by the residing counties who surrounded it, and in which case, it turned to industry to develop something that would raise its stakes in the battles, the explosive cannon or gun. As the plague strikes for a second time, how is Zapiroru able to use its new found ingenuity to aid them through it? if it is at all possible, that is.
Closure
Feel free to take a look at the site, and make you decision, I look forward to the answer, whether it is my site or not...although, if you don't choose my site, please remember that it is always a potential opportunity for you, even if you want to wait for some time in the future. Thank you...
Now, to make some stakes about my role as an administrator. Firstly, because my forum is quite new, I cannot make any claim whether it is active or not, because quite clearly, by average it is...but by statistic, it isn't. Secondly, any person who I decide as becoming an administrator must be dedicated to the site, and care now more or less about each individual with respect to being an administrator. Leniency can be acknowledged on particular bases, but only in situations where severity differs, but definitely not in any case of bias towards any particular individual. Also, even the administrators powers (including my own) will be absolutely restricted (meaning, administrators cannot do anything unless some person causes conflict with a portion of the forum, whether it be a rule or another member.
